DETAILED MOVEMENTS LIST & WHATS REQUIRED

1st SECTOR - 500M ROW

500m must be completed on the rowing machine before dismount. Once completion has been confirmed by the judge the competitor can move to the 2ND SECTOR.

Any damper can be used, and the damper can be changed whenever the competitor feels necessary.
2ND SECTOR - 30 ALTERNATING FORWARD LUNGES
-
30 forward lunges must be complete by the competitor. Once completion has been confirmed by the judge the competitor can move to the 3rd SECTOR.
-
Competitors knee must touch for the floor with every repetition
-
There must be a full extension at the top of the movement
-
At least 1 foot must be on the floor at all times
-
Repetition will be counted when knee hits the floor
-
The judge will call ‘NO REP’ if:
-
The knee doesn’t touch the floor
-
Both feet are off the floor at the same time
-
3RD SECTOR - 500M SKI

500m must be completed on the Ski Erg before dismount. Once completion has been confirmed by the judge the competitor can move to the 4th SECTOR.

4TH SECTOR - 30 DEAD BALL OVER SHOULDER – F15KG\M20KG

30 Dead ball over shoulder must be completed. Once completion has been confirmed by the judge the competitor can move to the 5th SECTOR.

A ‘drop and turn’ or a ‘forward step’ technique can be used
-
Full hip and knee extension when ball travels over the shoulder
-
Repetition will only be counted when the ball hits the floor
5TH SECTOR - 50 MED BALL SIT UPS – F4KG/M6KG
-
50 Med ball sit ups must be completed. Once completion has been confirmed by the judge the competitor can move to the 6th SECTOR.

Ball must touch floor behind head and between the feet
-
Repetition will be counted when the ball touches the floor between the feet
-
The judge will call ‘NO REP’ if:

The ball doesn’t touch the floor behind the head or between the feet

6TH SECTOR - 30KCAL BIKE ERG
-
30Kcal must be completed on the Bike Erg before dismount. Once completion has been confirmed by the judge the competitor can move to the 7th SECTOR.

7TH SECTOR - 50 WALL BALL SHOTS- F4KG 1ST TARGET/M6KG 2ND TARGET

50 Wall Ball shots must be completed. Once completion has been confirmed by the judge the competitor can move to the 8th SECTOR.

You must start your repletion standing upright
-
All squats must be below parallel or touching the squat aid
-
The target must be hit not hovered
-
Repetition will be counted when the ball hits the target

The judge will call ‘NO REP’ if:

The ball doesn’t touch the correct target
-
The squat is not below parallel or touching the squat aid

The competitor does not start the repetition standing up right
-
8TH SECTOR - 30 BURPEES

30 Burpees must be completed. Once completion has been confirmed by the judge the competitor can can be very proud that you have completed ANIHIL8!

Chest must touch the floor and you have the option to jump or step your feet in and out
-
You must jump with your hands above your shoulders
-
Repetition will be counted when you jump with your hands above your shoulders

The judge will call ‘NO REP’ if:
-
The chest doesn’t touch the floor
-
You do not jump with your arms above your shoulders
-

THERE IS NO TIME CAP FOR THIS EVENT

THE CLOCK WILL START WHEN YOU START THE FIRST SECTOR AND WILL STOP WHEN YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE 8TH SECTOR

ONE WARNING WILL BE GIVEN BEFORE A ‘NO REP’ IS CALLED

ALL JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL - ARGUING WITH THE JUDGE COULD RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION
